On March 3, 2024, thirty-seven members of the Keizi Doyukai (the Japan Association of Corporate Executives) from Tokyo and Okinawa, chaired for the session by Takeshi Niinami, President of Suntory Holdings ltd, came to OIST.
The event started with introductory speeches by President Niinami and OIST President Karin Markides. There were also presentations by OIST faculty members Keiko Kono and Kae Nemoto, followed by Q&A and a panel discussion.
The discussion was moderated by Tomokazu Nambu (Chairman, Advisor, Sumitomo Corporation), and panelists were Hiroyuki Motonaga (President and Representative Director, Okinawa Electric Power Co., Inc.), Gil Granot-Mayer (Exec Vice President for Technology Development and Innovation), and Naoaki Mashita, Vice Chair/Executive Director (Group CEO & Founder, V-cube, Inc.)
