Sometimes the songs that hit the hardest aren't the loudest ones. Leave Me Now slows things down and lets the emotion carry the record, and honestly, I wasn't expecting it to affect me the way it did. Token has always been a strong writer, but this felt especially vulnerable and personal.
One thing I really appreciate is when an artist isn't afraid to switch gears instead of trying to make every song sound the same. That's what keeps an album interesting, and this track definitely stands out because of it.
