I rescued this nest more than a year ago. Everything about my experiences and interactions contradicts past experiences, and much of what has been written about them. Please watch and listen. You’ll see they do not all look alike. Nor are they aggressive. It’s been reported that they show evidence of facial recognition, and even recognize threats and non-threats. My goal from the beginning was to get them to accept me as a part of their everyday lives. As you can see and hear, they clearly do.
