I recently played through Partners in Time again and it gave me the urge to do a couple more of these remaster-type videos. First up is Toadwood Forest, which I remember attempting years ago when I was making these videos actively but not being able to get it sounding quite right. I think this works, though! I kept a couple of the original samples from Partners in Time, mainly the bouncy synth in the background.
There's no official Toadiko art outside of the ingame image of them in the time machine, so I used this edited Toadbert art: mario.fandom.com/es/wiki/Toadiko.

Ive been in a very mashup mood recently, and theyll probably be a bit more frequent because I dont need a huge amount of motivation to make them. Anyway, this mashup uses all four channels and combines them. Channels are individual sections of a music file that normally play at different times. A good example of this would be New Super Mario Bros U themes. They have a channel for the main song, the Baby Yoshis, and the standard Yoshis.
I havent finished the game yet so Im not sure what every channel is for, so I put images of the instruments that were used and what channel they were.
