Imagine waking up one morning and seeing that the sun is blue. It's unfamiliar, confusing, and completely new. This album is meant to capture a sense of ambiguity about the future, as felt by me and many people my age who just graduated high school, but at the same time, a sense of hope and excitement for the opportunities that lie ahead. It's leaving the familiar place and going somewhere new to grow.
