What do 8 billion people have in common? The overwhelming urge to make more of ourselves. But is being good at breeding a good enough reason to do it? Jez talks about the decision to proactively help humanity by taking a snip for the team. Increased economic stability in the 3rd world and access to family planning lead to universally smaller family sizes, but late-stage capitalism and the climate crisis have passed their tipping points and “smaller" is no longer enough. A talk about why the biggest positive impact you can make for humanity is to stop adding to it. Jez Watts is a touring standup comedian, writer, producer & podcaster based in Melbourne.
