Welcome to the spoken poem: To all the lost and lonely. May this poem guide you and help you in life as much as it can.
Spoken text:
To all the lost and lonely,
Does this place, this time, frighten you?
To me, it does. It’s terrifying.
But how come?
This certainly is not our end. It’s only the beginning.
If you ever feel like this is it, believe me, it’s a genuine feeling.
To lose all in feeling so lost, so lonely, to the point of losing all… and everyone.
To be so afraid, only to cause more harm than when entirely confident.
To find yourself so utterly lost, so terribly lonely, so clueless as to where your life is heading, or where your people are.
Although this may seem like the end of the road, it’s not nearly that.
After every hardship, every struggle and every feeling of losing your way and the weariful suffering that is loneliness, there’s a way out, or rather, a way through.
None of us end up alone, there’s simply the odds to consider.
None allow us to be entirely alone, because of all the billions of people on this planet.
There will always be someone, anyone, a group, a dozen, a hundred people, there to find themselves entangled in our friendship, without having been able to predict that outcome.
We can’t possibly be alone in this massive, vast world. When you feel like you are, look closely, and you’ll know who’s there for you. You’ll know I’ll be.
Lost. What time is it? What place is this? Is always, this?
I’m sure that I miss, anyone in this. Anything.
To miss anything, no object nor person to identify what place this is.
To wonder, will I ever set foot on my path again? Will I ever find my way back?
There is a saying, telling us that which is lost, will always be found.
Then of course, losing something dear to you may never return, but there’s a silver lining.
What is lost will be found, whether that is by you or by someone else.
Those who stumble upon that which you lost may find the happiness they were searching for.
To lose that which you love, may be that which causes another to find peace.
We don’t have to do this alone, to go through this alone.
Once again, look closely, and you’ll know who’ll always be there to help you find your path.
If you look real closely, you’ll find a way. A way back, a crossroad, a way onwards.
If you look even closer, you’ll find what… or who could be the answer.
You’ll find that I might be, always there… for you.
Oh world, you may be so cruel, so vicious and relentless.
Oh world, how you’ve taunted me, broke me and left me astray.
Oh world, teach me how to live within the confines of perpetual darkness.Oh world, oh life, oh love, oh pain and oh this suffering, how I wish for all of this to end.
No.
Oh world, how beautiful you can be.
Oh world, how kind you prove to be.
Oh world, the love you give me.
Oh world, the happiness bestowed upon me.
Dear world, show them how beautiful it is to even exist.
Dear world, prove to them the love you give can always persist.
Dear world, tell them how kind you are, and the happiness you share with us.
Because dear world, however lost or lonely we may be, you’ve shown me there’s an end to all that is dark, to all that brings us down.
Show them, we live in the now, we are alive, we are strong and we are proud, that being here, feeling warm in the arms of others, is allowed.
Tell them, however lost or lonely they may be, there’s something and someone there for you and me.
From me to you, live, because however lost and lonely, you’ll never be gone and only.
We’re here for you, I’m here for you, as if it’s the last thing I’ll do.
