He is possessed by William Afton, the primary antagonist of the series. He appears in Five Nights at Freddys VR: Help Wanted and Five Nights at Freddys AR: Special Delivery. Sonic Racing: CrossWorlds (ソニックレーシング クロスワールド Sonikku Reeshingu Kurosu Waarudo?) is a kart racing video game serving as a spin-off of the Sonic the Hedgehog series. It is developed by Sonic Team, published by Sega, and was released worldwide on 25 September 2025. An animated short promoting the game was released on 29 August 2025, while a one-shot comic based on the game was released on 4 March 2026 by IDW Publishing.[3] The game features characters from the Sonic the Hedgehog universe, with characters from other Sega properties and pop-culture franchises being added periodically as downloadable content.[4][5][6]
The game was released for the PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox Series X and S, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch, and PC.[7] A Nintendo Switch 2 edition was first released digitally on December 4, 2025, and a physical version followed on March 26, 2026 (April 10, 2026 for Japan)[8], along with a paid Upgrade Pack being made available to those who own the Switch version of the game.[9]
