NOW GONE! Abandoned UNO Restaurant Closed Since 2019 JPVideos 2024-09-07 | This restaurant closed during the pandemic and never reopened, but nearly 5yrs later, this location is getting a new life. What was known as UNO Chicago grill is now becoming a Chili's restaurant. Since this announcement was made, I went there to get photos of it before it was gone, but little did I know prep work for demolition already began and I saw an opportunity to do a full walk through before it was demolished. FAMOUS ABANDONED PENNSYLVANIA TURNPIKE TUNNELS Experience! Exploring Before CHANGES Take Place? Five years ago was my first time visiting the Famous Abandoned Turnpike Tunnels and it was an great experience to walk part of the highway and to explore the tunnels. Fast forward five years and I returned to explore it in a much more efficient way. A few friends and myself brought our ebikes to ride the entire length of the Abandoned highway and to explore both tunnels. We also may have made history as we did something in the upper air chamber that probably hasn't been done before. Startling Occurrence Happened While Exploring UNIQUE Culvert System JPVideos 2024-07-20 | I don't think I've ever explored or seen one like this before...Last year I found not one, but two culverts that go underneath a highway system and I discovered them accidentally by following a stream of water on google maps. I was able to find a starting point and before I knew it, I arrived at the first opening. First impressions say alot and this was not only HUGE, but very unique. One Final Look Led to Some Incredible Findings! (Deadly Accident Site) JPVideos 2024-07-13 | This area is in jeopardy of being erased forever...At one time this was the only black powder mill in America, but it was also home to deadly accidents with the most recent one in 1997. After closing, nature reclaimed and I visited here in 2017 to document the site. There's been talks as of recent to build a massive warehouse facility and if that does indeed happen, the entire site will be erased, including the history. So in order to help preserve this history, I was determined to return sooner than later to fully explore and document the acres upon acres of this former powder mill. Twice!West Virginia is known for many things including the railroad, the mountains, the spread out landscape, but also its industries. One such industry was the producer of lumber which was needed in nearly all aspects of life back in the old days. The way the lumber was created was from lumber mills and the one we're checking out today still survives, but just barely. R&N T1 #2102 Makes HISTORY! Iron Horse Ramble 6/22/2024 JPVideos 2024-06-25 | This was History in the making with train action that was never before seen until now...Today 6/22/2024 was a day for the books, it was the day that Reading & Northern's T1 Steam Locomotive #2102 not only departed from a brand new train station, but it also operated on sections of track that it's never ran on before (to my knowledge). Since this is an event that has never happened before, I knew droves of people would be out to witness this event, so instead of opting for an all day chase, I strategically picked a few locations to film her in action in both directions, including turning around on the WYE at the Pittston yard. It's great to finally see steam make it to this part of Pennsylvania and it shows that people love seeing it as well. JPVideos 2024-06-01 | I've always said that following railroad tracks, especially abandoned or rarely used tracks can lead you to some rather interesting things and this video is proof of that. Today I'm following a line that is rarely used and mostly overgrown to see what interesting things it may reveal, but I'm also on a mission to find two things.
