NASA and SpaceX are counting down to the launch of the next crew to serve aboard the International Space Station.

The four person crew is scheduled to launch aboard the Dragon spacecraft, Grace, atop a SpaceX Falcon 9 rocket from Space Launch Complex 40 at Cape Canaveral Space Force Station on Sept. 12, 2026, at 6:30 p.m. EDT (2230 UTC) .

NASA astronaut Jessica Watkins, flying for a second time, will lead the mission, joined by pilot and first-time flier, NASA astronaut Luke Delaney. The two mission specialists onboard are Canadian Space Agency astronaut Joshua Kutryk and Rososmos cosmonaut Sergey Teteryatnikov.

Spaceflight Now Reporter Will Robinson-Smith traveled to the Johnson Space Center in Houston, Texas, to speak with the crew and mission managers about the upcoming, six-month expedition to the orbiting outpost.
