Tompa A | TLoZ: The Minish Cap TAS WIP 6 @TompaA | Uploaded 13 years ago | Updated 9 hours ago
6th WIP (Work In Progress) of my The Minish Cap TAS.
Total time so far: 51:24 or 185047 frames.
Rerecords: 108654
Time ahead: 1 minute and 20 seconds or 4814 frames.
Last WIP didn't have much action in it really, was mostly text and such. This WIP is shorter but at least it has something (I think...) interesting in it. A huge thanks to Atma for helping me out with some parts in this area.
I roll down at the beginning to avoid a message from Ezlo.
During the darknut fight, if you slash just when you hit him you won't get pushed away. Nice little trick to save some precious frames.
Because of all the statues I'm running through, I'm losing a lot of health which I need to refill. So I actually wasted some time to grab a heart or else I would have been doomed in the upcoming dungeon.
That's all for now. The dungeon will probably take awhile, so there will probably not be a new WIP for awhile. But you never know!
This is a Tool Assisted recording. Meaning it was recorded using an emulator with slow motion, save states and rerecording.
Visit http://tasvideos.org for more information on tool-assisted speedruns, and to watch the many already-existing TASes.
