It's one of those grey, rainy days that makes the workshop feel like a refuge. In this episode, I've been filming a new Bite-Size Workshop video on turning a slimline pen with just a spindle roughing gouge, tackled some long-overdue maintenance on the dust extraction system (complete with brambles), and I'm thinking out loud about the future of Turner's Journey.
The buffer I built up last year has all but disappeared, and I'm weighing up whether to keep going weekly, switch to fortnightly, or take a short break to rebuild. I'd genuinely love to hear your thoughts.Plus, I've started photographing students during their lessons, drawing on my old photography background. It's a nice way to give them a memento of the day while building up some marketing material for the school. There's a slideshow of recent lesson photos in this episode.
