Season 2, Episode 30, and the final episode of the season. I thought it would be fitting to end things the same way I started, sitting by a lake with a fishing rod and letting my thoughts settle.I've been here since yesterday, and honestly, I haven't done very much at all. No mobile signal, no emails, no workshop noise. Just 36 hours of stillness after what's been a relentless few months of teaching, demonstrating, writing, and filming.
I haven't been fishing since September, and I needed this more than I realised.I share a few early thoughts on Season 3 of Turner's Journey, what's on the horizon with the new book to write this summer, project videos still to come, and why a proper break from near-daily filming feels like the right call.
