Our road to creating the Model Titanic Splits video series has been a long and challenging one.

On the way, we made many sinking attempts that ended in failure (no hull break-up). Some of these videos, though, were still interesting to watch. This is one.

Disclaimer: The real Titanic did not sink this way.

This video shows Titanic sinking due a a phenomenon called "sagging." The ship is flooding amidships, but still supported by the buoyancy of the bow & stern. She floods quickly and sinks to the bottom.

Filmed at 240 fps with a Casio Exilim FC-150. No audio.
