The Titan, a submersible purpose built by Ocengate for diving the 12,500 feet to the Titanic wreck suffered a catastrophic implosion on Sunday Jun 18, 2023 at around 9:30am local Titanic time.
A crew meber on board the Polar Prince support ship for the final mission has provided some previously unkown information information about the last moments and confirmed that the so called leaked transcript of text messages between sub and topside is a forgery and hoax.
