Happy Tuesday! It's time for project no.2 in my Procreate holiday greeting series! This week, we're tucking holiday foliage into the negative spaces of our lettering to create an instant focal point and infuse that holiday spirit! If you're not comfortable with hand lettering, use your favorite font instead!
We start by creating our lettering, sketching out foliage placement, painting our foliage on individual layers above our sketch layer and then finishing everything off with some decorative snow. While I'm using my paid set of watercolor illustration brushes, this is a very beginner friendly tutorial that can be adapted to any style or alternative brushes. We are also using my free snow stamp brush set and my free monoweight brush, too. Grab the free color palette and brushes used above to get started!
