Cotton thread can come in handy when you're piecing curves! The lint on cotton helps to grab onto your fabric as you work, which can actually make piecing curves a bit easier. Especially for beginners 😱
WonderFil's cotton threads are double gassed, meaning they go through a special process which gives them an extremely low lint finish. With our cottons you can stitch for longer without your machine getting clogged up or covered in lint! But, all cottons have a bit more texture to their surface than a polyester or rayon thread. So they can grab onto fabric a bit better. This is helpful when doing curved piecing, as it can be more difficult to stop your thread from sliding around on the fabric. Efina, our 60wt long staple Egyptian cotton thread, is a great choice when working with curves.
