This #keepercam montage (in x4 speed!) was filmed by ectotherm keeper Sonja and shows our eight-month-old tortoise hatchlings exploring their new home - navigating the rocks and searching out their heated spots for basking and grassy areas for sleeping.

We’re currently working on an in-depth video that explains the science and care that goes into incubating, hatching and growing Galápagos tortoises, as well as the mahi involved in creating their crèche.
