Tinsman Road (2025) is a new found footage horror movie available for rent on Letterboxd until August 1! From director Robbie Bandfinch (The Outwaters), the film follows a young man who returns to his childhood home to investigate his sister’s disappearance. Packed with emotionally devastating moments and authentic New Jersey woods atmosphere, this found footage really stuck with me. It’s two hours long and a bit of a slow burn, but I loved how real everything felt. Plus, the payoff is awesome - and terrifying! This film reminded me of Lake Mungo. Also, it’s much more grounded in reality and easy to digest than the director’s previous film, The Outwaters. If you’re a found footage fan I recommend checking this one out on Letterboxd while you still can.
