I saw that there are a couple fires on the Olympic Peninsula, Washington State, that might be visible from the Victoria Waterfront. (near Port Angeles and near Lake Sutherland.) I didn't see anything that was obviously smoke, but my colour vision isn't perfect, so maybe someone with better colour vision might see some smoke amongst the clouds. I did a timelapse part of the Olympics because the clouds in front and behind the mountains looked interesting. Filmed from the west point of Finlayson Beach, Victoria, Vancouver Island, British Columbia, Canada:
