James Webb Space Telescope (JWST) | Time-lapse: James Webb Space Telescope Lift and Rotation @NASAWebbTelescope | Uploaded 7 years ago | Updated 2 hours ago
Here is amateur iPhone video shot from our cleanroom observation window. This is a partial time-lapse of the James Webb Space Telescope being lifted by crane in the giant cleanroom at NASA Goddard. It was then moved over to a different stand and rotated into view. The time-lapse effect stops when the mirror is revealed. The telescope was moved in preparation for an upcoming center of curvature test. Precise laser measurements will be made of the mirrors both before and after this test.

The video has no sound.
