alright this part may have some controversy so let me clarify, Ashfur in this map part is learning to let go of having squirrelflight as a mate and chilling him the heck out. This is with the help of a good support system. What bumblepelt did (by accident) is show Ashfur that he is loved even when he is at his lowest. The fire scene never happened because Ashfur was able to heal and not be an awful person.
Also Ferncloud is her own cat with her own autonomy. She is not Ashfur's sole support but she is his sister who cares about him.
