This is my 1 month ecosphere update with time lapse! This tank started out really healthy, but quickly became overrun by a lot of algae and mold. I beleive the change in environment caused its decline. The pond water I used was taken from an area of high-water flow, and put into an aquarium with stagnant water. I feel like this change in environment allowed the growth of a lot of unwanted things. There is still a lot of life in this aquarium so I plan on doing updates for as long as possible. Some of the things living in here are shrimp (copepods), flat worms, round worms, bacteria, and daphnia. Stay tuned to see what happens farther down the road.
