New Albany artist, Scott Scarboro, talks about his installation "Time Ghost tower-casts #1 and #2" that was created for the New Albany Public Art Project: Bicentennial Series. Scarboro created two towers that were installed at an intersection in downtown New Albany for two years. Each of these "tower-casts" transmitted a different audio program that could be heard within about a 40-foot radius over a radio tuned to 88.3 FM. The audio was created by Scarboro using archival footage from New Albany radio and TV stations and recorded news stories from local newspapers, including some recorded by Bob Edwards, former NPR host.

Scott Scarboro is a multimedia artist from Kentucky now residing in New Albany, Indiana. His "Upcycle," located on 4th and Broadway in Louisville, Kentucky is part of the Louisville Downtown District's "Public Art Bike Rack Program." He was featured at the Speed Art Museum's Art after Dark and his collaborative videos were screened at SFMOMA, "Bay Area Art Documents of early 90s." He has a Master of Fine Arts degree from the San Francisco Art Institute. He is the co-creator of the Annual Kentucky Art Car Weekend. He has given lectures at the Chicago Institute of Art, The Exploratorium in San Francisco and The Cyber Arts International Convention In Pasadena, California. He's been a school teacher, a lamp repairman and a prop builder for clowns.
