During our last 6 months of travelling we started to make a list of items that needed changing, repairing, or adding to our van. Now we are back in the UK, where it's easier than ever to buy what you need, it was time to get those upgrades and changes underway.
Adding extra Lighting was high on the list, with internal dimmable lights and external front lights for winter driving, unseen in the video was the fact we also changed all the rear light bulbs to LED too, making us easier to see on the road from behind, also making our braking much more noticeable.
The front of our van has been tweaked in the past, painting the grill black improved the looks on the past upgrade, however, this time I wanted to bring some modernity to the look of the van at the front and decided to upgrade to the 2019 Ducato look, which meant a new grill, new fittings and a few tweaks. It looks so much better now for the changes though, and lets not forget the new lower DRL lights and the concealed high beam LED spotlight in the lower grill too, which have both hugely improved night time driving down country lanes.
The final big change to the van was with the vinyl graphics added to the rear and sides, making it much less plain white and also giving it more presence on the road, we stand out more in all weather conditions and it looks far better too.
