Me and two friends were out riding mountain bikes. There was a section of the trail that we had to go around because of a downed tree. Don went first and ran over this Timber rattler with both wheels. The snake was coiled up when he ran over it.
We came back to go a different way on the trail and the snake had moved. I took this video of it. It is an awesome specimen of the Western NC Timber Rattler
