This video will not concern itself with whether booting up a scan of an adult human brain is a viable path to machine intelligence. Rather it will just assume my previous conclusion - that an advanced machine intelligence will be constructed in some other way first of all.

The question then arises, will the proposed "uploading" process ever happen at all?
