Greetings from Sarajevo! Glasgow seems a long and rainy way away, but here's a hasty edit from my recent BBC radio session with Karine Polwart. It was broadcast on August 19 but you can hear the show on the station's website:
bbc.co.uk/programmes/b00tf924
You can also see a video of my song Granite Mills, unless you're like me and in a place where it will say "not available in your area" when you click on it.
The words are from a notebook kept by Massachusetts privateer Timothy Connor when he was imprisoned in Plymouth, England during our Revolutionary War. I made the tune, and it's since been used by the great Scottish band Malinky for a different story.
