Tim Cook has stepped down as Apple CEO after leading the company since 2011.

On his final day in the role, Cook shared an emotional message with the Apple community on X, thanking employees, users and supporters for their constant inspiration.

“Sending lots of love to the Apple community on my last day as CEO,” Cook wrote, adding that while his title would change, his love for the community would not.

Cook said his gratitude was “endless” and that he was looking forward to the next chapter.
