The world is filled with songs associated with the prince of the power of the air. The apostle Paul mentions some of their themes in Colossians 3:5: "sexual immorality, impurity, passion, evil desire, and covetousness, which is idolatry." Along with these, we also hear the sounds of confusion, hopelessness, emptiness, and despair.
But above every melody rises the song of the redeemed, giving glory to the Lamb who was slain. As the hymn writer put it, "Hark how the heavenly anthem drowns all music but its own!" "Till the Whole World Hears" is a faith-filled call to sing out the eternal song of the gospel for all those who have yet to hear, through our words, our actions, and our lives.
