The claim that Jesus didn’t think of himself as being God isn’t a new one. Here is YouTuber and Tiktoer Morgue who tries his best to rehash the age-old case for a nothing-but-human Jesus of Nazareth. He quotes texts from both the Old and the New Testament, but in doing so, he misses what the doctrines of Christ’s incarnation and of the Trinity actually teach. While Morgue thinks that the Bible remains entirely silent on the claim that Jesus is divine, the exact opposite is the case. This video is my response to Morgue and explains why the conclusion of a divine Jesus follows naturally from the Biblical text.
