Bourbon Special:
3/4 oz lime juice
1/2 oz sugar syrup
1/4 oz falernum
1 oz ginger beer, I prefer strongly flavored ginger beer
1 1/2 oz bourbon
Shake the above ingredients in a cocktail shaker and pour into a glass
then add:
2 dashes angostura bitters
Ice, if you like it on the rocks
a piece of pineapple as a garnish
This drink has a stronger flavor due to the falernum. I love it but use the falernum sparingly until you are used to the taste. If you drink a fair amount of tiki drinks, you will be used to this flavor.
