Tignes 1800 is the quietest village of Tignes and located at a lower altitude. This is the first village you see after the dam and is currently going through a massive renovation. A large part of Tignes 1800 is the MGM’s Eco-resort, which was completed in 2014. This is becoming more popular with guests thanks to the renovation of accommodations and their slightly lower price.
Tignes 1800 mainly has 3 and 4-star ski-in ski-out Residences which are perfectly suited for families. You will also find a handfull of stunning luxury chalets if you know where to look.
Tignes 1800 has maintained the traditional look with wood and stone buildings make it a lot nicer on the eye compared to the higher ski resorts of Tignes Val Claret or certyain parts of Tignes Le Lac & Lavachet.
