Tiger Woods is set to appear in Martin County court Wednesday for a plea conference in the DUI case stemming from his March rollover crash on Jupiter Island.
Woods' attorney, Douglas Duncan, filed a notice Tuesday setting the hearing for 8:30 a.m. Wednesday, Sept. 2, before Judge Darren Steele at the Martin County Courthouse in Stuart. The filing lists the subject of the hearing as a “Change of Plea.”
The development marks a change from Woods' previous position in the case. In March, the 50-year-old golf legend entered a not guilty plea to misdemeanor charges of DUI with property damage and refusal to submit to a lawful test.
