Tiffany P.'s life as a military spouse has taken her all over. But she's found a home in Pittsburgh — and at UPMC.
Through UPMC's Pathways for Veterans program, Tiffany landed a paid internship at UPMC. That internship eventually became a full-time job as a human resources consultant.
Pathways for Veterans provides opportunities for military veterans and their spouses to enter the civilian workforce. The program also helped Tiffany's husband land a job as a pilot with STAT Medevac.
Tiffany says the program changed her life.
"UPMC is amazing," she says. "The patient care, employees, and environment that is holistic, and comfortable, and supportive. Everybody's a part of it, and I think that's the beautiful part of my job."
