THIS IS THE DISCLAIMER IN THE VIDEO IF IT'S TOO FAST TO READ: I read some books this year by authors who I have since learned are problematic. I am still including the books in this video. At the time of reading, I did not know (or in the case of Harry Potter it was pre-problematic behavior) I chose to keep these on this list for various reasons, but note that I don't condone the behavior of the authors. I also chose to be HONEST about my TRUE FEELINGS for the stories in the books. because y'all deserve my honesty and I'm not going to lie and say I hate a book I love because of actions of the author because if we do that then we also can't read Dr. Seuss and 90% of classic lit. so you got my honesty. there are trans charities linked in the description below so that we can support our trans and non-binary friends. thank you for understanding my decision.
