Revisiting Haiti - History & Culture
This week This Is America & The World is revisiting a program devoted to the culture and history of the Republic of Haiti. After speaking with Bocchit Edmond, Haiti’s Ambassador to the United States about the upheaval that has altered life throughout the country, we felt it imperative to remind viewers that there is much more to Haiti than the difficulties many see in the news. In turn, this program produced in 2018 serves as a reminder that Haiti’s history, culture and citizens comprise a country of tremendous value and despite painful headlines, there is so much about Haiti worth sharing and celebrating.
