Thymesia is a fast and aggressive Soulslike with an excellent combat system that rewards precise dodging, deflecting, and constant pressure on enemies.
The ability to steal Plague Weapons from enemies gives the combat additional depth and allows players to experiment with different abilities against bosses. The dark atmosphere, plague doctor design, and challenging boss fights give the game a strong identity.
The biggest weakness is its limited number of locations and repeated environments during some side quests. The game is also shorter and smaller than many other Soulslike titles, but its satisfying combat keeps the experience enjoyable from beginning to end.
