Although I was only a wee lad at the time, I have no memory of Thurl Ravenscroft being the narrator for the Disneyland Railroad's on-ride audio. I myself am an Earl Bone fan for the train and think him the finest narrator for the spiel because of his great depth of feeling and emotion with the script. However, the second best would have to Thurl. I decided to splice together multiple clips to put together a thorough audio of what the old narration from the 1980s (probably 1988?) to 2002 sounded like on the trains. Some of the narration is taken from different times to make it more unique (such as announcing Toontown Depot instead of Videopolis Station, the introduction for the Grand Canyon and Primeval World and the returning to Main Street Station). This was a very illuminating project and I hope you get as much Disney history from this as much as I have. Hope you enjoy!
