After optimising this brand new 2026 radio, it was time to test. Full 4W output, excellent speech processing, receive at 0.23uV for 12dB SINAD.....all amazing for a new set!

The 2004 Nissan Almera petrol test car was used in this test.

Mr Chippie drove along our usual 6-mile test route, the 'wrong side' of a hill. He stopped at the five mile point to test this set as a static test. These radios don't have low power, so the whole demonstration shows the radio working at 4W. The radio was mainly on UK FM, then switched to CEPT FM, then reprogrammed to EU toenable AM to be demonstatred on CEPT, then back to UK FM. The factory original mike was used throughout.

Our continued thanks to Thunderpole for kindly supplying the T3000 radio (and new mike) which is fitted to the test vehicle at no cost to us. This is the sole reason for the 'paid promotion' marker on this video.
