I was recently sent various old footage taken at Alton Towers in Staffordshire from someone I know who wanted some of it putting up online for others to see. This is part of that collection.

Footage of Thunder Valley (now Forbidden Valley) taken in 1993 at Alton Towers whilst Nemesis was being constructed ready for the start of the following season. Featured rides include the Thunder Looper (where Blade is today) and and the New Beast (where Air now stands). For an area that's yet to receive two fantastic B&M coasters, check out the size of the queues and crowds!
