Parents often try and stop their baby from sucking their thumb because they are concerned the action of thumb sucking will damage their baby's teeth. Unfortunately there is little you can do once your little one has found their fingers or thumb and started to suck them. But is thumb sucking really harmful for your baby and something you need to be concerned about?

In this video I cover why baby's suck their fingers or thumb, when/if they are likely to stop this habit and when you need to be concerned. After watching this video you will know if thumb sucking is harmful or helpful for your baby!
