Join us for an immersive motorcycle pov as we continue our mototcycle ride through India. We are experiencing the raw feel of motorcycle riding through some rugged rural Indian countryside. We encounter some challenges, including frequenr moments where the motorcycle cuts out or stalls, adding to the adventure. This journey highlights the unpredictable nature of riding, especially with the side stand acting up. Don’t forget to subscribe to follow our full journey around the world on two wheels!
Throughout this trip we have used some criteria for hotel bookings. We look at hotels which are either recognised brands, or which have the largest number of reviews with an average rating of 8 or more. We also have to take in to consideration moving in the right direction although we’re quite happy to swing off highways on to side roads and rural roads. We also need to stay within budget which is AUD $100 max unless we have no choice and have to go higher. We need to keep within a $200 budget per day for everything including petrol, food and everything else. We like to get a feel for a general location and like to book something with heritage where possible. In the main we use booking dot com and Agoda. We do sometimes use hotels dot com but their site is not as easy for rewards and good reviews. Agoda seems to be preferred by many in India. But sometimes we have no choices and the location determines what we can book - we certainly thought this one looked good, but looking good is no indication or what’s actually on offer !!!!
We’re riding the WORLD on MOTORCYCLES and while we await the arrival of our BMW F800GS motorcycles in to the UK, we’re starting the journey on Himalayans in INDIA.
