Tubers High Score Season 12 has commenced and our first challenge chosen by Acidonia150 is FixEight. A top-down run-and-gun arcade game developed by Toaplan and originally released in 1992 as the spiritual successor to Out Zone (1990)
Players choose from eight distinct mercenaries, each with unique weapons and backstories, Most characters utilize two main attack modes: an 8-way directional shot and a more powerful forward-facing fixed shot.
We played Out Zone a few year back and I enjoyed it so I got into this game straight away, I tried all the characters but couldn't really pick a favorite, try as I might I just couldn't proceed past stage 3, cool game! Here's my attempt....
