It's Tubers High Score Challenge time again and this fortnight we've been battling dinosaurs in Dyna Gear, released in 1999 for arcade by Sammy, it was chosen by Acidonia150. It's a run 'n gun without the guns, a horizontal shmup masquerading as a platformer? It reminds me more of a Amiga or SNES game than a arcade one...The player can choose from two characters - Roger and Wolf, Roger is slightly faster and Wolf has a better jump. Gameplay is fast and simple - just run left and shoot enemies over 8 levels of hectic action. Heroes can use various weapons, like swords, flails or arrows. It was fun, for a while, but soon got repetitive, anyway, here's my run....
