Since I've only been composing microbe and multicellular themes for Thrive lately and my inspiration has therefore almost disappeared, I decided I needed a break, and what better way to do that than by using all the musical skill I've accumulated since composing the last Robot March Theme to update it. Please comment on any changes you think I should make to this theme or my composition style.

Thrive is a game that aims to simulate the evolution of a species from cell to space-faring in both a fun and scientifically accurate way. Based on the premise that Spore had the right idea but went wrong somewhere, the developers have released an early version of the microbe stage and are aiming to finish the stage this year.

![How Pythagoras Broke Music (and how we kind of fixed it)
How does music work? What did an Ancient Greek philosopher have to do with it? Why did he keep drowning people?
Discover the answers to these questions and more as we take a tour through musical tuning systems, examining how the power of mathematics has helped us build and rebuild our methods of creating music throughout history. Pythagorean tuning, the Pythagorean comma, equal temperament - learn what these are and how they shaped the way we make music today.
