"Three.exe" is a horror fan-game based on Super Mario Bros. 3 created by Randy Becker, and released on Mediafire on September 12, 2016. The game was later released on Game Jolt packaged with three other games by the same creator on September 21, 2019. The game starts off pretty normal, you get to play a Super Mario Bros. 3 SNES-looking game & you start with the first world that's the Overworld. The first level looks alright so far, except that there aren't any enemies to fight, no Goombas or Koopas. While walking, when you reach half of this level, the screen will suddenly freeze then get jumpscared by a horror version of Peach, whose eyes are black & pupils are white glowing. She also has a creepy smile on her face & her teeth are as sharp as a shark's. After getting jumpscared, Mario will return on the map which is completely changed now into worse. The map is now red-tinted & also in flames. Mario's skin is now gray & his eyes are glowing red. He also has an evil smirk. When you try to replay the first level, Mario will instead get warped into an Airship cutscene section, but there's no airship & anchor to climb on, just emptiness. A few seconds later, from above the sky, it will fall a bunch of pillar with spikes on them on Mario, killing him instantly in a gruesome manner. After getting impaled, another jumpscare of Peach will occur, then the text saying: "I AM A FAILURE" will pop-up on the screen, then many more. After all this, Mario will end up in a Ghost House where he's trapped in a box made of wood blocks. A few seconds later, 2 Big Boos with angry expression will show up from both left & right directions. When they attack Mario, another Peach jumpscare will occur & the screen will go black again. 10 seconds later, the screen will go back to normal & now Mario's in a red level, where Mario & the tilesets are completely black. At one point, while wandering in this area, from above it will slowly come down some pillars with spikes on them, that will again impale Mario. After this, a cutscene will occur, with Mario falling in nothingness while the message: "I COULDN'T SAVE HER", pop-ups on screen. Mario's clothes are now darker, his skin is gray & his eyes are white & cries blood. After this cutscene, Mario will return once more on the map, which this time is blue-tinted & very dark. Mario still remains the same, his skin is gray & eyes are red glowing. When entering the level 1, this time Mario will get warped on an Airship. Outside is night & the atmosphere is foggy. The Airship is empty, no enemies at all & the Turtle Cannons don't work since they don't shoot Bullet Bills. Want more content like this?
