In Sudan millions of people are trying to survive on just one meal a day, according to a new report published by humanitarian organizations. Many Sudanese have resorted to eating leaves and animal feed as the country's critical food-producing regions struggle under severe aid cutbacks. Tjada D'Oyen McKenna, CEO of Mercy Corps, joins the show to discuss the agencies' report and what she witnessed on a recent trip to Sudan.
