Here is my version of the Commodores classic where Lionel Richie used a play on words by calling his lady not once, not twice but three times a lady. What a lovely way of courting your dame.
As always this video is a first-take live recording from 2 angles and because of that it has some slightly autotuned vocals on selective parts. The backing track in the middle of the song is as original as possible and as you can hear consists only of drums, bass and a few strings. I took out all guitars and vibes to preserve the piano bar character.
The digital grand is a luxury master keyboard triggering the even more luxurious "Giant", the biggest piano in the world that I had the privilege of playing repeatedly in Tübingen thanks to my friend David Klavins.
