It's a popular opinion that the racing game genre declined in the 8th generation of game consoles. There are many areas to blame - lack of new IP, franchises like Gran Turismo taking too long to appear or Need for Speed declining in quality, but one of the most obvious areas to point to is the fact that a majority of racing game franchises didn't have any titles on any 8th generation game console.
So for this video, I have brought in two friends to talk about three different racing game franchises that we'd like to see come back.
